Hi, I’m Emily Bender. I’m a 22-year-old currently living in Huntsville, Alabama and have just graduated university with a degree in Marketing. I have seven siblings and am the second oldest. I love writing about places I’ve been to, working out, cooking, and editing photos. Traveling is my absolute favorite thing and I’ve been to 11 countries so far. I started this blog when I was 19 and when some unfortunate events were occurring in my life. This is why I chose the name Somewhere Happy. It has been my escape from bad moments and negativity. Since then, I have revamped it and changed the layout a little. I hope you enjoy the content of this blog and I hope that wherever you’re reading this from it’s Somewhere Happy.
